When I first started writing I checked out several other editors. To my amazement, they all wanted to change what I had written. Jeannie did not want to change my work; she wanted to enhance it! I hired Jeannie to be the editor of my first book, which is a very personal memoir about my experience with childhood sexual abuse. She was very compassionate and empathetic. I felt that she understood me and the story I was telling.
